A few ground rules

These terms cover your use of StudyGrain at studygrain.com. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Using StudyGrain

StudyGrain helps you turn supported learning materials into notes, transcripts, flashcards, quizzes and chat-based explanations. Features and usage limits may change as we develop the product. Availability can depend on your browser, your plan and the services used to process a request.

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age requirements in your location. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, obtain it before using the service.

2. Your account

Provide an email address you control and protect your sign-in credentials. An account is for your own use; do not sell access or distribute your login to other people. Tell us about suspected unauthorized access at supaext@gmail.com. Guest or demo data may be stored only in your browser and can be lost when browser storage is cleared.

3. Materials you provide

You keep any rights you hold in the materials you submit. You give StudyGrain and its service providers permission to process, store and display that content only as needed to deliver the features you request, maintain your workspace and operate the service as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Only submit materials you are entitled to use. Get any permissions needed to record a lecture or process another person's information, and follow your course or institution's rules. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information unless you have the right to do so and understand how the relevant feature processes it.

When you export or share a note, you decide who receives it. Recipients may keep copies even if you later disable the sharing link. Sharing does not transfer ownership of the original material or override its license.

4. Check AI-generated work

AI can produce incorrect, incomplete or misleading text, formulas and answers. Compare important output with your source material. StudyGrain is a learning aid and does not guarantee grades, exam results or factual accuracy. Its output is not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice.

Original uploaded study files are not a permanent archive in StudyGrain. Keep your own copies of important sources and export notes you need to preserve.

5. Responsible use

Do not use StudyGrain to break the law, infringe copyright, harass others or distribute harmful material. Do not attempt to access another person's notes, bypass account or usage limits, disrupt the service, introduce malware or use automated requests to abuse its infrastructure. Follow applicable academic-integrity rules.

We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, legal obligations or a breach of these terms. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied by mistake.

6. Plans, trials and payments

Free features may have limits. Where paid plans are available, the checkout must display the price, currency, billing period, any trial conditions and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase. A pricing preview or an Upgrade button alone does not charge you or activate a paid subscription.

Any recurring charge, cancellation method and applicable refund conditions will be stated before purchase. Mandatory consumer rights remain available regardless of the plan terms. For a billing question, contact supaext@gmail.com.

7. Service availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but interruptions, errors and changes can occur. To the extent permitted by law, StudyGrain is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for how you use generated material and for maintaining copies of important work.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes rights that consumer law gives you. If a problem occurs, contact us so we can try to resolve it.

8. Ending use and changes

You can stop using StudyGrain at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email us from the account's email address. The retention details in our Privacy Policy apply. Ending your account does not automatically erase copies you previously shared with others.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date on this page identifies the latest version. We will communicate material changes through the service or another appropriate channel; any additional acceptance required by law will be requested.
